What could be more delightful than a chilled bottle of Smirnoff Ice on a hot day at the beach? A nice cold beer of course. But when you’re over knocking back beers , an alcoholic lemonade will always be a fantastic option. For those who’ve never tried one, 3 words say it all ; sweet, fruity and refreshing.
Many people consider it a beer since it’s produced with malt. Personally, I believe it has nothing to do with beer since it tastes completely different. It really feels more like having a vodka with juice cocktail.
Usually consumed straight from the bottle , the sweetness and fruity flavour make it also an excellent mixer. My first attempt was the frozen margarita. I was so inspired with this , I’ve since tried it in many other cocktails. I’ll share my top 12 with you all today. Here’s the walk through :

It’s not easy to be 100% sure what’s exactly in the beverage since the company doesn’t publish a full list of ingredients. It may even vary from one country to another , due to local regulations.
In North America at least , the recipe is in fact a malt-based brew , meaning the processing is similar to beer. It seems likely the recipe contains no vodka in the USA. This is not the case for other countries including many in Europe where Smirnoff No 21 Vodka is the main ingredient.
Local production variations also account for differing alcohol by volume content depending on which country you’re in – anywhere from 4% to 7%.

As an overall guideline , the sweeter , fruity cocktails match well with Smirnoff Ice. I’ve had no luck mixing it with café patron , or bailey’s , for example.
